About Us
The idea of My precious arrival began on September 18, 2007 with the birth of our first son, Nícolas James in Austin,TX. As new parents, we were filled with joy and a little anxious too, especially since we didn’t have any family around. I’m originally from Venezuela and my husband is from Atlanta, GA, and in times like this, it is wonderful to have the company and support of family and friends.
As a way to celebrate our new arrival, I designed a cute looking stork and set up in my front yard to share the wonderful news with friends, neighbors, and family. Everyone loved the stork, so I decided to provide a way for other moms to spread their joy with their neighbors.
Finding the perfect newborn gift idea takes time and a lot of website hunting! MyPreciousArrival is designed to be a one-stop-shop to celebrate the birth of a new baby. Everything from stork signs, photo birth announcements, nursery decor, diaper cakes, and my custom made line of baby desserts.
I’m
currently taking a
few years off from teaching high school Math to be a full time
mommy. My little Nícolas is a highly active baby who loves
the water, playing with other kids, and is bilingual. As a new mom, I’m
enjoying this new stage of my life and love meeting new moms to share
stories, advice and have playdates with our kiddos.
